Here's a collection of some of my favorite Paradise Beach agates taken in a gold pan. Stone sizes range from 1/4 inch to 2 1/2 inches. Individual stone photos reveal more detail why these are the best of the crop from Paradise Beach. Collected since 1991.

Here's a classic collection of some of my Mom's best Paradise Beach agates. The richness of color found on Paradise Beach is astonishing.

These little dollies are found naturally polished along Paradise Beach. All are complete nodules. We've found complete nodules as small as 1/8 inch! The natural characteristics and shine make this group especially beautiful. Some with very detailed eyes.

Classic paradise beach nodules from 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches. Nodules here are grouped by color. The dark green, brown and reds are the higher quality while lighter shades of pink and gray tend to be quartz filled. Most are whole. While none in this group appear in the individual favorites photos, several have unique exposures of inner agate.

These 1/4 to 1 inch agate nodules and chips from top to bottom are mustards, hard whites with mustard, hard whites, hard whites with blue, blue, whiter whites, water washed agates with lines, others. The hard whites are most beautiful close up, often with premium hard agate and lines inside.

Raisonettes and attached nodules. Attached nodules are agates that remain attached to the surrounding Basalt in which they were born. Beautiful expressions of erosion in progress. Raisonettes often are very hard with agate veins. Some with more veins than others.
