Agate ID: agate_051
Weight 0.4oz. 7/8" x 5/8" x 1/2". "The State of Minnesota" agate. Top rated fortification pattern and quality in this amber. Face polished.
Agate ID: agate_052
Weight 0.1oz. 1/2" x 1/2" x 3/8". Beautiful eye. The bright eye has been face polished. The other principal eye is natural with a crater. The back side has been face polished.
Agate ID: agate_053
Weight 0.3oz. 1 1/8" x 5/8" x 1/2". Nice purple nodule with eye. Unique shape.
Agate ID: agate_054
Weight 0.3oz. 3/4" x 5/8" x 5/8". The quality of the outer husk and inside of this Paradise Beach nodule are best in class. The pockets of exposed agate that have flaked away on the sides are facinating. Face polished.
Agate ID: agate_055
Weight 0.2oz. 5/8" diameter. Very unique nodule. The dark side is a winner. Interesting how the nodule turns red on the opposite side. The red color is NOT the result of a fracture exposing inner agate, rather, is the outer portion of the husk.
Agate ID: agate_056
Weight 0.3oz. 7/8" x 3/4" x 5/8". I love the red, brown and white colors on the outer husk of this nodule. The expose quartz on the back side exposes a weakness (imbalance) in this stone.
Agate ID: agate_057
Weight 0.4oz. 1 1/8" x 5/8" x 5/8". Only a little of the brown/green outer husk remains. I've never seen a nodule peel away so cleanly and consistently to expose the red inner layer. The little dark "eye" adds interest and value.
Agate ID: agate_058
Weight 0.4oz. 1" x 7/8" x 5/8". Another classic Paradise Beach nodule. Face polished. The dark thin lines on the face are fine internal fractures. In one case, the fracture extends around gracefully and is visible on the outer husk.
Agate ID: agate_059
Weight 0.1oz. 5/8" x 1/2" x 3/8". The subtle difference in the rate in which fortification lines are eroding is interesting. I don't call this an "eye" even though the fortification pattern somewhat resembles one.
Agate ID: agate_060
Weight 0.1oz. 3/4" x 5/8" x 1/2". Four unique groupings of eyes, two snowmen, a solo, and cluster.
Agate ID: agate_061
Weight 0.2oz. 1" x 5/8" x 3/8". Pretty natural bean. Many eyes, uniquely different.
Agate ID: agate_062
Weight 0.3oz. 3/4" x 5/8" x 5/8". Rich, high-quality candy stripper. I don't recall it's original condition before polishing, but, in the early years I made the mistake of polishing some stones I would not today.
Agate ID: agate_063
Weight 0.1oz. 5/8" x 5/8" x 1/2". "The Green Brain". Interesting color.
Agate ID: agate_064
Weight 0.2oz. 5/8" diameter. Pretty. High quality. The exposed quartz is nicely water-washed and is not your typical quartz filling.
Agate ID: agate_065
Weight 0.3oz. 7/8" x 5/8" x 1/2". A well-balanced complete nodule. Experience knows this is a beauty inside. This will not be quartz filled.
Agate ID: agate_066
Weight 0.1oz. 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/2". An eye on each side make this mustard unique.
Agate ID: agate_067
Weight 0.1oz. 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/4". I love the unique fortification on the end of this stone. One of my favorites.
Agate ID: agate_068
Weight 0.2oz. 3/4" x 5/8" x 5/8". This is a quartz filled nodule with transparent green husk with four eyes under the surface, the largest eye is 3/8" diameter. Very unique and of good quality. My Mom found this stone and gave it to me as a gift.
Agate ID: agate_069
Weight 0.1oz. 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/2". There is a very subtle submerged eye inside this beauty. Face polished.
Agate ID: agate_070
Weight 0.7oz. 1 1/4" x 3/4" x 5/8". Nice chunk.
Agate ID: agate_071
Weight 0.4oz. 1 1/8" x 3/4" x 1/2". Nice chunk.
Agate ID: agate_072
Weight 0.2oz. 5/8" diameter. Nice glassy nodule. Light passes through.
Agate ID: agate_073
Weight 0.2oz. 5/8" x 5/8" x 1/2". "The Hot Air Balloon". Incredibly unique mostly because of the black markings. Resembles an attached nodule although the amount of basalt is very minimal.
Agate ID: agate_074
Weight 0.2oz. 7/8" x 5/8" x 1/2". Nicely balanced natural bean. So flawless it's difficult to tell where the entry channel is.
Agate ID: agate_075
Weight 0.2oz. 5/8" x 1/2" x 1/2". Nice complete nodule with red/green husk. We'd love the inside if we could see it. Having studied many agates from Paradise Beach, many of which expose inner agate, I know this is a rich red inside.
Agate ID: agate_076
Weight 0.2oz. 1" x 5/8" x 1/2". What a blue!
Agate ID: agate_077
Weight 0.1oz. 5/8" x 3/8" x 3/8". This unique pattern resembles that of an eye, but, is not a traditional eye. There is a small white eye on the back side.
Agate ID: agate_078
Weight 0.3oz. 3/4" x 5/8" x 1/2". Classic painted Paradise Beach agate with exposed inner agate. Natural. The combination of the outer red/green husk and inner tan is wonderful.
Agate ID: agate_079
Weight 0.2oz. 3/4" x 5/8" x 1/2". A nice solid boob agate with no flaws.
Agate ID: agate_080
Weight 0.1oz. 5/8" diameter. A very nice hard white with two interesting fortifications and crater.
Agate ID: agate_081
Weight 0.1oz. 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/2". Nicely balanced orange nodule. No flaws.
Agate ID: agate_082
Weight 0.2oz. 5/8" x 5/8" x 1/2". What makes this purple nodule so unique is the cratered texture and black markings within many of the craters.
Agate ID: agate_083
Weight 0.2oz. 1" x 5/8" x 1/2". Interesting stone. Several things going on; greenish husk, unique pink filling, three interesting eyes, a small area of water level lines not shown and three very small patches of black not shown I find very interesting. Exposed quartz creates an imbalance.
Agate ID: agate_084
Weight 0.3oz. 1" x 3/4" x 5/8". Beautiful agate lines on this polished beauty!
Agate ID: agate_085
Weight 0.7oz. 1 1/4" x 7/8" x 3/4". Paradise Beach nodule with green husk and red agate exposed on the ends.
Agate ID: agate_086
